- Lu Huynh Joins the Corrosion Office Team
A former program and technical analyst and Army captain has joined the DoD Corrosion Policy and Oversight Office team. Lu Huyuh will oversee the performance of contracts managed by the Corrosion Office Director Daniel J. Dunmire and his staff and he will serve as military assistant to the Product Engineering Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, which supports the Corrosion Office. - David Robertson Will Serve as Air Force Corrosion Executive
As the new Air Force Corrosion Executive, David Robertson will coordinate departmental corrosion control activities with the DoD Corrosion Office, program executive officers, and major subordinate commands. The DoD Corrosion Office won two MP Readers’ Choice Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards for two online applications—the CorrConnect Web site and the CorrSim App. The MP Readers’ Choice Awards is an inaugural recognition program sponsored by Materials Performance, a monthly magazine published by NACE International, The Corrosion Society.
